One possibility is to rewrite PCK to Blitz but I really don't want to do that 'cause I've used mainly Amal - it would be pain:((( The best solution should be the AmosNG but nothing has happened for ages, or has it? So, what's up with it, Pietro (are you on this list anymore?)? Peter, where's your Aga-extension?
> I really want to stick with amos but it seems that there's no other way:( - hope you see my point...
My extension did RTG too, but I canceled it cos noone liked GMS, and the
entire extension was based on it. There was a pre beta out, it only did
basic pixel handling, iff loading, p61 support and a few other bits.
Before it was out I did have bobs working, but I had a new, better
design for how it should handle them, so I removed my old bob code
and started to code the new ideas I had for the bobs, that was when it
was canceled, so the pre-release beta never did do bobs. But it fully
did AGa on all of its commands, and they were all much faster than
the amos equivilents(like much much much faster :). After the prebeta
I pretty much stopped it altogeather cos of all of the GMS moans,
I remember adding c2ps into it, they used EBH and got 47.3fps. on
my 030. But I never released them.
As for pietro, I think his amiga has died completely. I remember
he was having trouble with it a few months ago. If you like, Ill contact
the other members of the Amos NG group to find out about it ?
